 Becoming Part of Our Family

Immanuel Lutheran Church is dedicated to the preaching and teaching of God’s Holy Word, reaching out to others with the love Christ shows us daily, and to  the administration of the Sacraments.  In response to God’s love for us, we reach out in service to one another and to the community outside the church, both locally and around the world. We welcome into membership anyone who desires this relationship with our Savior, and who wishes to fellowship with other believers in this place.

Becoming A Member of Immanuel:  Those with Non-Lutheran Background

If you have never been a member of a Christian or a Lutheran Church, you may become a member by Adult Baptism/Confirmation.  We believe the study of God’s Word should be an important part of every Christian’s life.

To become a baptized/confirmed member of Immanuel you need to attend “Faith 101.”  This class will look at Christianity from a Biblical perspective.  It is a class to ask any questions you may have about God or faith.

After completing this class you will be invited to attend "Discipleship 101" which is a one day Saturday event from 9-3.  At this event  you will learn how you are vital to the life of Immanuel in Worship, Bible Study, and Sharing.
