The Immanuel Food Pantry ministry is available for people from our area (Macomb Township and north Clinton Township) who are in a temporary emergency situation. Our pantry offers non-perishable and frozen food items, and normally provides meals for approximately four days. Macomb County pantries are for short-term emergency needs, and assistance with food may be received once during a six month period. Our pantry is a member pantry of the Macomb County Emergency Food Program, and referrals are made by calling the United Way (dial 211). Clients may call United Way during business hours Monday-Friday for a referral. Food may be picked up at Immanuel by appointment only on Monday or Thursday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Food donations to our pantry are always gratefully received. If you would like to donate to our pantry, please call Pastor Michael Heiden in the church office to make the arrangements, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
