Our Mission At Immanuel Lutheran School
Our mission is to nurture our students spiritually and academically to their highest standards. In partnership with home, school, and church, we strive to develop disciples of Jesus Christ.

Philosophy of Immanuel Lutheran School
We believe God’s Word is the direction for our lives. "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness."
(2 Tim 3:16) Through God’s word we know we are sinners and can only be saved by Jesus Christ. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Therefore, our purpose is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to bring students and their families into a living relationship with Him. "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28: 19-20)

Objectives
In order to insure the fulfillment of our mission, we strive to develop the following:

  • Worship
  • DEMONSTRATE worship through our daily classroom devotions and prayers, weekly chapel services and encourage families to worship both at home and in church.
  • Education
  • INCORPORATE Christ in all instructional areas and use the gifts from God to reach the greatest potential of the individual.
  • Witnessing
  • TEACH and MODEL to students and their families ways to demonstrate the love of Jesus and to boldly share the Good News in all areas of their lives.
  • Fellowship
  • GATHER together with Christ as our center, remembering that all are loved by Him and demonstrating His love through our words and actions.

Train up a child in the way that he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6 )
