Elizabeth Lutz received her teaching degree from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska in 1967 and has taught in Wisconsin, Missouri, and Michigan. Since 1986 she has served as Preschool Administrator and teacher of Immanuel Lutheran School. She now serves as the Minister of Early Childhood to 0-5 year olds for the Church as well as the School.

Presently she has a preschool staff of ten under her; five certified teachers, four teacher assistants, and one clerical assistant. Mrs. Lutz, herself, is certified within the State of Michigan, receiving additional schooling to meet State requirements for Early Childhood Credentials.

Besides administrating the preschool, her duties include the administration of God's Little Gems (a Sunday Program for 0-4 year olds, with their parents); overseeing all aspects of the Church's nursery program; developing and teaching the New Beginnings Baptismal Seminars which are offered on a monthly basis; supervising care givers for worship and all other Church related activities; overseeing the Cradle Roll of Immanuel; organizing and supervising the MOPS organization; providing resources to parents with young children; and creating other programs for parents with young children. Mrs. Lutz is married to Pastor Michael Lutz and they have four grown children; John, Joel, Jaime and Jeremy.
